As the food demand is rising rapidly with the growing human population, Agricultural research became crucial to meet these demands. However, in recent days when new technologies and approaches are being released in the market every day, therefore, research became more important to verify them before suggesting them to our clients. Premium Ag firmly supports this; therefore, we initiated our research and development team which doesn’t only verify established techniques but also develops its own.Current research projects :
- Designing of different seed rates depending upon the topography and management zone, funded by Premium Ag
- Analyzing machine learning and neural network modeling techniques for management zone representation to increase fertilizer use efficiency and crop yield in Alberta, funded by result-driven agriculture research RDAR
- Quantification of the result of excess heat and water stress on wheat genotypes at various topographies with the help of drones, Funded by result-driven agriculture research, RADR
- Verification of boron application on cereal and canola in different soil types.
