About Our Team
Matt Gosling FOUNDING PARTNER/ AGROLOGIST ( P.Ag., CCA )
Farming has always been a passion of mine, and Premium Ag allows me a world in which I get to farm full time vicariously through our clients. I’m 4th generation farmer in Wheatland County and very proud to be raising four kids on a farm and farming acres of my own to learn on and become a better agronomist. The journey of entrepreneurialism has taught me many lessons over the last 20 years. It has been amazing to see farm succession happen with our team along side. I look forward to another 20 years helping our farm clients thrive in an evermore complicated farming business environment.

Andrew Clements FOUNDING PARTNER/ AGROLOGIST ( P.Ag., CCA )
Until late 2006, Andrew lived in England where he studied Agriculture at Nottingham University. He traded grain for a large company called Dalgety before accepting a Grain Director Position with ConAgra. His family has greatly enjoyed settling in Canada and since the move in 2006 he had some local experience in working with Pioneer in Lyalta, buying grain and providing agronomic support. In the spring of 2009, Andrew started his own company and began to team up with Premium Ag. Since then Andrew has become a partner with Premium Ag, teaming up with Matt to bring Agronomic advice to clients. Andrew won Agri-Coach of the year in 2012, 2013 and 2014 with Matt.
Canadian agriculture is, fundamentally, similar to Europe but, is hugely different agronomically. Andrew has found leaning the similarities and differences between European agriculture and Western Canadian Ag to be very rewarding.
Andrew specializes in grain marketing services.

Gurdeep Singh Hehar Research Scientist
Being born and raised in a family from farming background located in predominantly agricultural state of India, Punjab, I firsthand experienced current farming constraints. I had an opportunity to pursue bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering program at the Punjab Agricultural University Ludhiana. I was inclined on pursuing my further education and therefore I completed my Master of Science in Agricultural Engineering from Auburn University, U.S.A where I learnt crucial skills for my research career. After moving to Canada, I started my career as a research assistant in Canola Breeding Department of Bayer Crop Science. In 2018, I got the perfect opportunity of working as research scientist with Premium Ag Solutions. During my journey, I had vast opportunity and got exposed to experimentation and implementation of field scale research studies, collecting agronomic data, analyzing, and presenting the results to growers. Currently, I am working on different research projects, including variable seed rate according to field conditions, developing a machine learning algorithm for management zone delineation in precision agriculture, comparing the heat and water stress in different varieties with drone and multispectral sensor. I identify myself as a consistent learner who is keen to learn advanced techniques and approaches in the field of agriculture research.
